In Honor of tax season, I thought this story of Government abuse of tax money to your attention.  According to this Washington Times story, last year the US State department spent 300,000 of your tax dollars on Booze.  Thats right, they took your beer money and bought themselves some Jack Daniels.  The story highlights a few instances of purchases for “gratuities” at embassies abroad one of which was a nearly $4000 PO for Old No. 7, Jack Daniels.  The $300,000 dollar mark was apparently almost double the previous year, and comes at a time when taxpayers are already becoming overburdened by drunken-sailor spending in Washington.  Of course they expect such a high mark to go down in the next few years, since the number of Kennedy’s in Washington is declining as well…too soon?

When my state, Georgia, started talking about raising taxes on tobacco, my initial thought was, “Whatever…I dont use it anymore…What do I care?!”  Then I saw this Washington State was considering a beer tax to make budgetary-ends meet and started thinking, “WHOA, now!
